We practically loved everything – the spot in the small town, the closeness to Aix en Provence, the historic building, the gardens and surroundings, the comfort and the rest we enjoyed. But most of all we appreciated the great vibes and service from Herve and Valery, who made our short trip to the South of France truly memorable! It’s a super place, great value for money, and full of care. Oh, almost forgot – the breakfast was outstanding! Nothing in particular to criticize.

“Authentic, extremely clean, kind and very nice owners”

If we could give a rating out of 1000, we would. The accommodation is perfect and authentic. Le Vieux Moulin sits in the small, charming town of Jouques. The highest praise goes to the kindness and hospitality of the owners. Everything was flawless!

The location and the staff impressed us very much. The room was a bit dark, and there was mold on the floor and tiles in the shower.

“Wohlfühloase !”

Our expectations were absolutely exceeded. The old mill was exceptionally restored and we loved it. There was a very tasty breakfast in the garden, and the room was 1a. The pool was great too. It was the best accommodation on our vacation and ranks among the top 5 in the last 40 years. Valerie and Herve are ideal hosts, and I had very stimulating conversations with Herve. Thank you for everything. One more tip: if you don’t like parking on the street, which can be tight, you can rent a private parking spot.
