“It was truly an unforgettable experience!”

The homestay sits right in the heart of a village that feels naturally charming. I woke up to birdsong and watched peacocks dance outside the window while having breakfast. The Host and his family welcomed us like family. The room was immaculate, and the Wi‑Fi worked great. Over two days, the Host guided me to spot rare birds, lizards, snakes, monkeys, and more—an unforgettable adventure!

An extraordinary experience! The room was comfortable, equipped with reliable Wi-Fi and hot water, and featured an amazing terrace overlooking nature. Thisara and his family went above and beyond, welcoming us with treats and preparing incredible meals. The rainforest tour led by Thisara was unforgettable—he is deeply knowledgeable and showed us unbelievable wildlife and waterfalls. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything just clicked: the location, the staff, the food, the room, and the ability to jump straight into a rainforest tour from there. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, and we also had a lot of tiny ants on one wall of the room.

“Ottimo per soggiornare in questa zona!”

We stayed at Forest & Fields and it was a fantastic experience, immersed in the most authentic nature. The room was really comfortable and very spacious, and even though the bathroom could use a few minor improvements, it didn’t affect the quality of the stay at all. We also found the breakfast and dinner to be really good. The real added value was the tour organized directly through the hotel to visit the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. It was simply beautiful: they let us explore the forest, show us many animals, and finished with a waterfall swim. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area! The bathroom needs improvement.
