“Great location great rooms great value”

Everything was flawless; the staff were accommodating and friendly, parking was convenient with 24‑hour access, and breakfast was delightful. All our needs were met.

“Not bad not brilliant”

The food was decent, and Chris, the manager, was fantastic and never seemed bothered. The room was comfortable enough, and the cleaning ladies were lovely; the room was spotless. The food was pricey for its quality, and the soft drinks at the bar were expensive. A major let‑down for me was breakfast – the grill was broken, so I asked to fry my bacon and was told it wasn’t allowed; black pudding was also unavailable, supposedly for health reasons, though I’d argue customers should decide what they eat.

The atmosphere was cozy and family‑friendly, but the rooms were cramped with too many pieces of furniture, two single beds each with its own duvet, and barely enough space for clothes and suitcases.

“Fabulous yearly stay as always”

The rooms were fantastic, the food delightful, and the staff amazing; the bar was bustling and fun, and there were no negatives.

It didn’t look attractive when I walked in, but surprisingly bed was comfy, and no noise from the pub was coming so we were able to have a good sleep. Food was good. I got a number of emails for electronic check in and check out. Despite filling all the details prior to arrival, I was asked to do it all over again on a pay er forms at the reception. I was quite sick and it was really annoying. Carpet throughout the property was badly stained and the room felt cold, we couldn’t turn the heating on. Also despite check out at 12 n a website and having sign on a door to not disturb, we had cleaners trying to enter the room at 9.30, when we were trying to sleep off our flu
