“Contemporary Hotel in Stunning Venice”
The staff were friendly, the hotel was beautiful, and the rooms spacious. There were plenty of restaurants nearby—highly recommend the one right opposite the hotel. A co‑op store across the street lets you stock up on drinks. This was my second stay here. I booked a Deluxe Junior Suite. Initially we got a very roomy room with a sofa bed (all in one), but I asked for a change. The website shows a larger room with a smaller separate room, so I suggest requesting that directly from the hotel, as it’s not always available. The staff were accommodating and gave us a generous size room with a double bed, while my friend got the small side room with a single bed. The location is quieter but perfect for exploring Venice’s beautiful streets. It’s a 5‑minute walk to the nearest water taxi, 10 minutes to the train station, and a 20‑minute walk to St. Mark’s Square. Breakfast was basic for a 5‑star, but it met all our needs. Highly recommend Hotel Aquarius!
