The staff were friendly and the location convenient, but the parking entrance was a bit pricey per day. The carpet needs a thorough cleaning, and the room is noisy because a nearby hospital’s ambulance sirens ring often.

I loved the CBD location and that the hotel was the pick‑up point for the tours I had booked. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and the hotel offered a bar, restaurant, café, and indoor swimming pool. The concierge service was also great. The shower was difficult to set to the right temperature because it was fixed to the wall.

The rooms are spacious, quiet, and very pleasant. I enjoyed a swim in the indoor pool, used the gym, and recharged before my flight home to Sydney. The bathroom will need an update eventually; the vanity sink was partially blocked. There was a minor issue with the laundry facilities, but the staff handled it so well I couldn’t complain. I received clean clothes neatly folded in my room. The laundry coin system is problematic—if you don’t have coins it’s a bit of a walk to find some, and it needs to be more streamlined for frazzled travellers. That’s the only drawback; otherwise, I had a lovely stay.
