“Helpful staff, but serious room maintenance and hygiene issues made the stay unacceptable.”
The staff were very friendly, but the room conditions were unacceptable for a Superior room. The first room had an electrical fault—key card kept clicking and the bathroom light flickered—so we were moved. The second room had a strong damp/mould smell from the air con and wardrobe, visible mould and damp inside the wardrobe (see photos), cigarette burn holes in the chair, and overall poor upkeep, plus constant scraping noise from the room above that made us uneasy about unpacking our luggage. Check‑in staff were helpful, but the room quality didn’t match the category.
