The place was in a great location, the breakfast and rooms were good. The windows lacked soundproofing, so planes flew over the room until midnight and again from 6:00 am, but that didn’t bother me much.

The hotel was close to the port. The property had confirmed early check‑in three weeks before our stay, but the day before arrival I received a text and email telling me I needed to download their app to check in, which was difficult on Greece’s 5G; I entered my passport number and all requested info. When we got to the hotel, the front‑desk woman asked for passport details again and said our room wouldn’t be ready until 3 pm, even though they had confirmed early check‑in; she then arranged for the room to be ready in an hour and a half, which wasn’t helpful at that point. Later that day, no one was at the front desk when we returned to check in; we waited about 10 minutes in the empty lobby before a housekeeping staff member finally arrived and shouted for the receptionist to come back. When she returned, she was slow and unhelpful, even though we were clearly trying to leave again. We had to retrieve our own luggage from the luggage room, moving at least seven or eight suitcases that had been “parked in” by other guests just to reach ours. I never saw her at the reception desk again for the rest of our stay, and it seemed the staff were essentially useless.

The breakfast was fine, but there was a lot of airplane noise, probably because the hotel is close to the airport.
