“Un disastro”
The Wi‑Fi was good. They lent us a hair dryer that wasn’t in the room, even though it was listed in the amenities. Being the only guests at the hotel on those days, you’d expect the best room. Maybe that was the case, but I can’t say how the others were. The room was dirty, the shower was broken, and there was only one large towel for two people over two nights. The wall sockets didn’t hold plugs at all. The sheets were stained, and a huge cock was crawling around the room, so we had to hunt it down all night. The promised buffet breakfast was missing because there were no other guests, so we got a sparse spread of milk, coffee, an omelette, and toast. Why would a hotel accept guests and treat them like this, and why not take advantage of the closure to renovate a place that’s no longer up to standard?
