I had a pleasant stay that surpassed my expectations: the room was spacious, bright, and decorated in an eclectic style, with a very clean bathroom and fresh towels delivered regularly. Its central spot right beside Rome Termini station made the hosts’ hospitality even more enjoyable.

The room was spotless and tidy, emitting a pleasant scent, and we were greeted warmly by an elderly lady who was extremely sweet and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the shared bedroom was also clean. It’s about a 15‑minute walk from the Colosseum, with plenty of bus stops and a nearby metro station.

The location is fantastic, with metro access just outside and a quiet courtyard. Food is everywhere, and a great, affordable gelato spot lies just south. The Basilica of Mary Major is up the street, so a metro day pass is a must to explore Rome. The room is cleaned daily and towels are changed. Knowing some Italian helps with onboarding and following the homeowner’s rules—turn off all lights and fans when leaving and double‑lock the doors for her security. The only downside is that one room lacks a mini‑fridge.
