How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The hotel is beautiful with extensive grounds and a very relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in the Ceder double room, but it was above the kitchen dining area and we heard a constant loud humming in the bedroom. The noise stopped around 10.30 pm and then started again at 7.30 am.

The restaurant had lovely decor and a bright, airy feel, with excellent, well‑presented food and plenty of options. The grounds were attractive and offered plenty of outdoor seating. The bedroom was well appointed, comfy, and had good amenities. The dining area could use sturdier seats and slightly larger tables, and although there’s no view of Lake Windermere from the hotel, it’s just a short drive away.
