How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location and price were fine. The surroundings were loud, there was no Wi‑Fi in the bedroom, I waited 40 minutes at reception for someone to check us in, and there were a million ants/termites crawling in the bathroom. We couldn’t stay the night even though we’re not bug‑sensitive.

The host was super welcoming and friendly, speaking excellent English and being very helpful; we couldn't stay because the electricity was out, but she still came to us and offered some local tips, and the tour organization that partners with Boom is among the best in town. The place isn’t very clean and the bathroom is “essential”; inside the hostel there's a bar/party area that you have to pass through to reach the rooms.

The vibe is amazing and the price is great. Some mattresses are hard and there's a bit of dust, but being in Pai that’s normal. The bathroom was clean, though the drain struggles to clear! Considering the price, it’s fine if you’re a backpacker.

I love how close it was to everything in town, right in the middle of Bar Street with bars and hostels all around so I could meet people and try new things easily.

In the heart of Pai, behind a bar, between two very loud bars, with music blasting at night you even feel the vibrations in the bed… The cleanliness isn’t great, cigarette butts in the shower drain, hard mattress, no towels.
