The vintage décor is unique and the apartment sits in a residential neighbourhood, so it’s peaceful and not crowded with tourists; the surrounding restaurants are excellent, and the landlord is very friendly.

“Locked out and then trapped inside”

The room and bathroom were nice, the air conditioning was good. The system for getting in after 7 pm was functionally worthless. The hotel gave me an information sheet which included a phone number to call after 7 to be buzzed in remotely, because the buildings doorman would be gone and the building had no other way to get in, the hotel did not have staff on site. I arrived at 945, and waited outside for an hour because the phone number given was not a working number. I had to run in behind someone else. The hotel suite door itself also didn't work, so when I used the combination for the door it didn't unlock from the outside or the inside. From the outside there was a spare key, but I was trapped inside the hotel at one point, a girl from another room and I both tried to unlock the door and couldn't. I called the owner and he offered me a full refund and then avoided me and never fulfilled his promise
