We were just passing through and looked for a cheap place, so the value for money was outstanding. The host was very friendly and we communicated via WhatsApp. We only arrived at the property at 0:30, but the key‑code system worked perfectly. Our room had its own bathroom and there was a shared kitchen with the other two rooms in the building. We have nothing to criticize. However, if you plan to stay longer, the open windows will wake you up with the cable car’s operation or street noise when the morning traffic starts. The accommodation was actually in the neighboring town, not at the address listed on Booking, but Cinzia had already mentioned that.

Staying with the family felt truly personal; they greeted us warmly, handled any tiny request instantly, and added a few thoughtful touches. The restaurant just across the street is great for dinner, and the cable car to Monte Lema is right there, while the bus links make getting to trains and nearby towns easy.
