We ate breakfast on our balcony because the dining area was cramped, but the food was fantastic. The staff were friendly and offered helpful dining suggestions, and the room itself was clean and spacious. The downside was that the door to our room wouldn’t open fully and kept sticking on the rug.

Walking distance to the shopping area. Waterfront dock. Beautiful old building- classic and classy. Its pricey. Not unduly so for the location and quality, but still pricey

Room one had an incredibly comfortable bed that let me sleep like a log. The vintage and antique furnishings, especially the wallpaper, were gorgeous. I’d like to give a shout‑out to our gracious hostess, the owner—Stephanie?—and the homemade buffet breakfast was good, with a nice pastry selection and great coffee. I’d have liked more time to linger on the porch or balcony for a second cup of coffee, but the trip was rushed. The practical issue was that room one is on the 16th floor, accessed by a narrow staircase that’s hard to navigate with bags or a hard‑sided suitcase.

The hotel is a short walk from downtown, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. The only downside is that the waterfront view is flooded at high tide, so you’ll need to request a balcony room.
