The place feels cozy and quiet, about three blocks from the square, and Edi and Guillermo are always ready to help. At breakfast you can pick how you want your eggs. The beds feel a little firm, but that’s a matter of taste.

The spot is in a superb location, close to the square, and the room is spacious with solid Wi‑Fi. Breakfast is simple, the staff are friendly and attentive, and a hair dryer is provided. However, it took a while for the hot shower to start, and after the third night my comb and USB charger went missing before checkout—though I didn’t bother to ask the staff. I had requested no housekeeping on arrival, and the staff’s English isn’t great. Make sure to communicate your arrival and departure times clearly, otherwise you risk getting locked out.

Edilberto was incredibly helpful, arranging several tours, taxis, and trains to Machu Picchu for us. The breakfast was plentiful, and he even gave us a breakfast box for our early‑morning excursion. The only downside was that sometimes the bathroom had an unpleasant musty smell; they did provide an air freshener for the room.
