“Nice!!!comfortable!!”
The shower needed a bit of tinkering to get it working properly, which was a small hassle.
“Horrible. Avoid at all cost.”
It was on the way to my destination, and the only thing I could note was that it was available. The experience was among the worst I've had; the staff gave us a room right next to the main office, and when I asked to change rooms, the employee accused me of “making a mess” even though I had not yet set foot in the room—my wife walked in and left within seconds! I can’t fathom what kind of employees IHG hires; that guy should have been fired immediately. There was no breakfast, despite the “free breakfast” claim. A white light from the smoke detector above the bed flashed all night, keeping us awake for the entire night after a 14‑hour drive. When I complained at checkout, the lady said, “Well, nobody has complained about this before, you’re the only one,” and then dismissed us with “have a nice day.” This hotel needs to fire all its staff or shut down.
“Not happy”
The bathroom was dirty, the carpet smelled of mildew, the TV didn’t work, and the dishes in the cabinet were unclean.
“Good for the value but would not want to stay long term.”
The hotel was very convenient, and I liked having coffee and tea ready in the lobby. The room itself was well equipped, generous in size, and came with all the necessary appliances and amenities. However, the room had a musty smell, as if it had been damp at some point—nothing overpowering, but definitely noticeable. Also, there was no hot breakfast, which is odd these days; only coffee, hot water, and some oatmeal packets were available.
The location was great and the staff were friendly. I thought the pet fee of $75.00 plus a $50.00 deposit was steep and not justified; many dog owners are responsible, but the charge felt excessive.
