“Lovely pub accommodation and absolutely top notch Indian cuisine”
This pub sits right on the Cotswold Way in the quiet North Nibley, a charming old‑school country pub that’s been well kept and even got new carpets on the day we arrived. The beer was good, but the food stole the show with an outstanding curry. Their Indian menu is wide, and I’m still craving the Chicken Tikka, the Lamb Naga with Pilau rice, and the Peshwari naan. Breakfast comes pre‑prepared continental, stored in the fridge in the room, which worked perfectly since we had to leave early the next morning. Highly recommended!
“North Nibley gem.”
The location was lovely a quiet village setting and a village country pub with a twist. The whole menu for evening melas was Indian cuisine. Luckily I love Indian food, the staff, service and attention to customers was excellent. The pub was quiet when I sat down at 7pm but by 7.30 you could not get a table in the main dining area. My meal was excellent, will definitely stay again when in the area. Nothing really, the only slight niggle was the lovely new Sash windows were out of balance and need adjustment to ensure they are able to be used to their potential, Overall very good
“Good stop along the Cotswold Way.”
A nice old pub that’s clean, comfortable, and has very friendly staff.
“Perfect location for walking the Cotswold Way”
The room was comfortable and full of character, with decent tea facilities, a light breakfast, and a TV. The pub staff were friendly and offered useful local cafe and cake tips, plus they were very helpful when we asked to accommodate a bike. The Indian food was great! The only downside was that there wasn’t enough shampoo or shower gel.
“Overall it served a purpose and to be fair the Indian food was good 👍🏼”
The room was a bit noisy because it’s above the bar, which isn’t ideal if you’re hoping for an early night.
