“Heerlijk verblijf met heerlijk avondeten”
First off, the food is truly fantastic. Breakfast is tasty, not overly extensive, but what’s there is good. Dinner, however, is genuinely delicious. On a random evening, Italians come here to dine, which says a lot in my opinion. The room was spacious and clean, and the air‑con worked effectively and quietly. The bed is large and comfortable, though the mattress is on the firmer side; I slept well, but preferences vary. It was a good mattress, not old and thus hard. The host was incredibly friendly and cheerful in an honest and pleasant way. The accommodation offers a beautiful view and a nice garden for kids to play in. The location is a bit farther from the lake, but that didn’t bother us. A half‑hour drive brings you to a lovely “beach” and the whole lake region is much less touristy, which made it very pleasant in terms of crowds. We stayed 5 days, and afterward I definitely wanted to stay 2 more days! No negatives.
“Bellissima esperienza, sicuramente da ripetere.”
Everything was perfect; I’d add that it’s worth trying the breakfast and dining at the restaurant: genuine Valais products cooked really well. Claudio
“Un angolo di paradiso”
My husband and I stayed two nights at this wonderful property. Our room, impeccably clean and fully equipped, had a spacious balcony overlooking the mountains with a stunning view. We loved the quiet in the area; we realized how much we needed it as soon as we settled into the balcony armchairs. After a short drive of 7 minutes to Morbegno for an aperitif, we dined at the agriturismo’s restaurant, which is also open to non‑guests, and it was the best choice we could have made. Every dish we selected, all traditional cuisine, was a real delight. The company’s cotechino with potato and grilled ricotta cream with blueberry jam were our starters, followed by first courses of Valtellinese pizzoccheri and blueberry gnocchi with cream, speck and arugula. The dessert was a selection of cashew delights with preserves, a wonderful assortment of cheeses including bitto, served with fig, mandarin, plum and blueberry preserves. A Nino Negri red wine accompanied our courses, and by the end of the dinner we were more than satisfied—marvelous. The food was so good that, contrary to our plan the day before, we chose to dine at the property again the next evening, ordering the antipasto for 2 at Ul Canévèt and then the desserts, skipping the previous night: a buckwheat cake with blueberry jam and whipped cream, puff pastry with chantilly cream and berries; it’s hard to describe, you have to taste it. A note of praise for the beer, suggested by the manager, Pintalpina Sbrega: just sparkling, a bitter touch and then an explosion of exotic fruit, a fabulous mix with excellent and discreet persistence on the palate, exceptional. I can’t help but mention the herbal digestif served hot, which I unfortunately can’t recall the name of… delicious, effective, a treat. The only negative was that we had to start over.
The place is nice, clean, and the kitchen is very good with a genuine breakfast. On arrival, I might have preferred a less informal welcome, like a coffee that wasn’t automatically added to the bill, but it’s fine overall.
The cleanliness of the property, the courtesy, friendliness, and kindness of the staff, and the excellent quality of the food.
