How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location is very convenient, we could walk to many tourist spots and there was a safe area to stay: several restaurants, shops, etc. I would have liked each bedroom to have its own bathroom, but sharing a bathroom with other guests was a bit uncomfortable and it was a challenge to find a clean one; the toilet has plumbing issues.

The place is central, clean, and the service is friendly; it feels cozy, the old estate takes you back to historic Jalisco, and it has everything you need. Its location means everything is close and you can easily use various transport options. The historic center is just a few blocks away, so walking around is very pleasant. The building is old and some areas need maintenance, the outlets didn't work, and it needs a refresh and more attention to things that are deteriorating.

Friendly staff, a great spot, and solid value for the cost made my visit worthwhile. The place was charming, spotless, and offered everything I needed, including a kitchen and bathroom, with towels ready if I wanted them. The room and common areas stayed very clean the whole time. Breakfast was on the house, which was a nice perk. The location was spot on, with almost everything within walking distance, and I always felt safe. I also liked the activities and tours the property ran—some free, some paid—which are handy if you’re unsure what to do in Guadalajara. All in all, a solid place to stay and I’d definitely return. The shared bunk‑room layout feels more suited to a short stay; the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but I still managed decent sleep. Other than that, no major complaints.
