The owner spoke German and English, which was helpful. She was friendly and helpful. Everything was stylishly furnished, from the room to the dining table; breakfast was very good. There was a rustling sheet on the mattress; you had to lie still, because as soon as you turned over, it rustled. It was very annoying

“Excellent overnight stop on the way back to Caen”

The spot is great—just a short walk from the old town—and the rooms and breakfast were excellent, but it was a shame we didn’t notice the window blind until morning.
