Beautiful grounds, rooms very original. We were welcomed with a glass of apple juice and chilled water – nice when you’re exhausted from the heat after arriving by bike. Bikes were well stored. There’s even a washing machine and dryer available. Dining options were a bit far – but with the bikes you can reach a nice bar with good food in 10 minutes. You could also eat at the accommodation if you check in on time.

Very good welcome. Catherine is attentive to guests’ well‑being and requests. The property has a lot of charm. Comfortable and well equipped. The shower was a problem.

A beautiful little hotel right by the Rhone, picturesque and utterly quiet. The themed rooms were a highlight – we stayed in Afrique, which had lovely colours and air‑conditioning that was essential in 35 °C. The only downside was that every room sits on the top floor and is only reachable via a very long steep staircase, so it’s not recommended for people with mobility issues. There are no restaurants within walking distance; if you book in advance the owner will arrange a table d’hôte, but we only managed a 30‑minute reservation before arrival, so we drove to a nice nearby spot instead.
