The hostel Flor do Caribe is a solid pick: simple, spotlessly clean, and right in the middle of everything. Celia is a perfect host—friendly and helpful. The only hiccup was the room being packed; there wasn’t a plug for each of us, but we just took turns.

Celia and her family welcomed us like we were already part of the crew—warm, generous, and quick with tips. The breakfast felt like home, and the spot is perfect if you’re into the rodeo festivities. The only thing missing was a small table in the room to keep things organized.

The crew here is awesome—Celia’s hospitality is top-notch, always attentive and kind. The location is spot on, and the backyard is a shaded oasis thanks to the big trees. Breakfast? Absolutely amazing. The downside? The room is too tight for a double bed; it keeps bumping into you and takes up space that could be a chair or two. Couples, you might want to sleep separately for a few nights—no harm done.
