Helpful staff, comfortable beds, and clean rooms. However, the rooms I booked didn’t exist.
“value for money. good for overnight stay”
Noise is constant, especially from the room above, making it hard to relax.
“It's OK, and there is little choice in the centre of Sipalay anyway.”
The price is low and the spot is well situated, but the hotel feels dated and a little neglected. The owners seem to be looking to sell, so improvements are unlikely.
It was very hectic to request AC rooms, but when I arrived the room we booked wasn’t available and the AC was broken—only fan rooms were offered. The property has not helped with a refund despite the agreement; the staff kept insisting they couldn’t refund. The place is inconvenient and it’s hot everywhere.
“The place is not a place to stay.”
The spot’s location is handy, but the so‑called family room is actually an old bar turned into a room, littered with dusty empty bottles and swarmed by mosquitoes. The air‑conditioning is broken, and overall it’s a lousy place even for a single night. I refused to stay and demanded a refund. The front‑desk staff weren’t even aware of a booking that day; they only found out when we arrived. It’s a complete mess and utterly disappointing, causing a lot of discomfort.
