“Worst experience in Vietnam so far.”

Honestly, there was nothing good. There was no 24‑hour reception. I was standing outside in the rain from 2:45 am until after 6:30 am. The staff was rude, didn’t take my serious physical issues seriously, and tried to make me pay more for switching rooms (my first room had toxic air, mold, very humid, bad for my nose and eyes). A day later my body was still recovering. During the room change, the staff member was impatient, grabbed my arm multiple times “to make me hurry up,” and when I asked her to stop, she just laughed and walked away. At check‑out she said nothing.

“À éviter à tout prix”

The Wi‑Fi worked fine, but a little cock jumped on me when I opened the trash can in the morning. The room was dirty, the water was cut off, there was no air conditioning, and the hotel was almost empty yet I was given a windowless room. The owner was extremely unpleasant—my first bad experience in this country.

The simple hotel had everything you need and a water refill station in the lobby, and the bathroom was spacious. However, the price was very low for Vietnam standards. The hosts seemed more annoyed than happy to have guests, and it was hard to find them because nobody was in the lobby when we arrived. A few ants were in the room, and the harbour there isn’t the one you should use to reach the islands (we didn’t know).

There was an elevator. The room had a crack and was infested with ants. The owner said he would rent a motorbike for 150k/day, but when we rented it he gave us a scooter and charged 200k/day.
