The breakfast was poor.

The room was big and roomy, the price was good and I loved the decor. The host was very friendly as well. I liked it.

There are only a few rooms in a building in the center of Vasto. The furnishings are exceptionally well done. I rarely find an hotel so carefully crafted. Every single detail receives attention, the colors are perfectly matched, the sheets are hand‑stitched, the bed is very comfortable, the walls have spatter paint, the floor is wood. The bathroom is very nice, not large but well designed. Entry is by code, both in the building and in the room. There is no reception, but a message with instructions arrives. The person I spoke to was helpful and kind. The only drawbacks: I regret not being able to give a score that matches what I said above, but what bothers me are the inaccuracies in the description at the time of booking. It is not true that there is free parking; you park on the street, pay, and it isn’t even easy to find. It worked fine for us. It is not true that the breakfast is great; a voucher for a coffee and a croissant is handed out at the bar in front. This is not a breakfast and I think it would be correct to state that in the description, or to remove the breakfast offer entirely. Finally, the noise: the traffic below, but especially the chatter of people, until late at night, prevents sleeping. It feels like people are in the room. I can’t understand, given all the care put into building this hotel, how the windows’ soundproofing wasn’t considered.

The spot was in a pleasant area, but the place had no lift and the air conditioning kept cycling on and off, making me wake up sweltering.

The location and room were great, though the traffic made it a bit noisy.
