I could walk to the seafront in a short stroll. The B&B had an old‑style garden frontage with outdoor seating. The breakfast menu was a let‑down; the food quality could improve, it was just cooked items and cereal, and no continental options were offered. The vinyl on the bathroom floor was filthy!

We were greeted warmly when we arrived, especially our little dog ‘Lizzie’. The room was the ‘Queen suite’, very comfortable and fully equipped. Plenty of tea/coffee, a lovely bag of treats for Lizzie—nice touch. Everything was nicely decorated and extremely clean. Breakfast was perfect, a full English and plenty to keep us going, with nice pots of tea to wash it down. We’re walkers and liked leaving the car safe and walking to the seafront in less than 10 minutes. The bus along the seafront—Number 12—takes you to Paignton, Brixham or into the Torquay Harbour area. The walk back was fabulous. For us, it was a perfect stay and nothing bad to say.
