We had a wonderful stay at The Franciscan Hotel! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The complimentary bicycles were a highlight—we rode them for a stunning sunset along the beachfront bike path, making it one of the best moments of our California trip. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise; though advertised as complimentary, it felt like a full meal with a wide variety of options that pleased everyone. All in all, a fantastic experience that I’d definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at The Franciscan Hotel: the room was large and clean, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the hotel sits just a block from the beach amid great cafés and restaurants; they also gave us bikes so we could explore Santa Barbara without a car.

“Excelente hospedaje”

The location is very good, in a quiet spot close to the beach and the pier. The room is very comfortable and has a small kitchen‑dining area that is very well set up.

A beautiful place with very friendly staff, a comfortable bed, and they offered a pool, bikes, and breakfast; the coffee in the room tastes great. However, breakfast started at 7:30am but we had to leave at 7am, and there were mosquitoes in the room all the time.
