We were told there was a mirror above the bed, but the bathtub was also in the room; the bathtub plumbing and tiles were unsanitary and peeled off when used, the central shower knob was stuck and threatened to damage the tiles if turned, the sink next to the toilet was patched, the hair dryer was defective and triggered the fire alarm at 22:30, and all of this was reported to the night watchman.

The hotel/inn has a vintage charm and a very friendly staff; I spent three nights in a quiet room with a fairly comfortable bed, enjoyed a decent breakfast, and appreciated the free coffee, chocolate, and tea available at any time.

The location was good and the facilities were clean, but there were no mats for the shower and the floor got wet when bathing.

We stayed a week and never had the sheets changed, never had the towels changed, never had the toilet bin emptied, never had the room cleaned. When we complained, we were told it was not a hotel but a hostel and we had to buy soap ourselves. The TV worked only for a day and a half. The staff were below average. The price was outrageous: 270 $ per night while the nearby Hotel Labelle, a real hotel, was 221 $ per night, so we felt cheated.
