The breakfast was a highlight – fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious
It's about a 1.5 km walk or a short taxi ride away from the city centre

“Mixed feelings & unclear room type information”
Relatively new with higher-end finishes. Visually attractive. Quiet residential location. (Only 1 of 3 nights did we hear a dog barking for a few hours). An amazing breakfast, thoughtfully presented and with some variations each morning. With touring motorcycles we were able to park behind a locked gate in the courtyard. Note - the photos of the specific room we booked (Deluxe Double Room) showed both a large and a small room. Note the large floor space around the bed and the chair in one photo, but not in other photos. Deceptive. We ended with a tight, small room and were told “we did not specify which room we wanted”. No, the two room types should be different room options. Other than for breakfast and room cleaning (same quiet lady) we saw no other staff around. The entry/exit is all remote. The gate entry code did not work one day so we had to text and wait to be let in. Only took 5 minutes, but we prefer someone on site. We found the thick duvet too hot even with the air conditioner on which worked well. We requested a blanket rather, but they did not have one. Instead, we got a cotton duvet slip cover. Opinion is a facility putting itself out to be more higher end should accommodate. A good night’s sleep is a key part of the comfort one pays for. We checked the booking site when there and saw that rooms were advertised at around $300/night discounted to half that. We booked months ago at the lower rate. In our opinion it is not worth more than what we paid for it. While we were there we were the only customers for 2 of the 3 nights (in last week of August). One other couple was there for the third night. If you don’t like being far from the old city the distance is approx. 1.5km. We like walking so it was ok. The pedestrian tunnel under the wide railway tracks appeared safe when we walked it, but it was quite void of people
Breakfast was decent, yet the reception was empty, there was no elevator so we had to lug our suitcases up two flights, a leak appeared in the bathtub and the power socket by the bed was unreliable.
The place was spotless and the breakfast was tasty, yet the amenities were surprisingly sparse for a 4‑star claim: the room lacked a coffee machine and the bathroom had no glass.
“חדר נקי , שירות מצויין ארוחת בוקר מפנקת”
The room was spacious, clean, and luxurious, but there was no kettle.
The breakfast was good and the hotel looked clean, but the staff only showed up during the morning meal, there was no lift to reach the second and third floors which caught us off guard, and the room felt rather cramped.
