Jane and James greeted us warmly upon arrival and remained kind throughout our stay. The breakfasts were superb. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the castle and the village with its shops and restaurants. The property itself exudes character. James offered helpful advice when we mentioned our plan to take the steam train that day. We appreciated the little extras in the bathroom, and the fridge outside our room stocked fresh milk and other hot‑drink supplies. Drinking water was also available from the fridge. Everything was very clean.

We really enjoyed this beautiful Guesthouse, very comfortable and well equipped. James’ welcome was great, very attentive, and his breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend this address, which is very well located in a lovely village. Nothing was lacking; everything was fine.

The breakfast was great, and the place was spotlessly clean. Nothing to complain about.
