We had a terrific stay at this property. All the facilities were decent, and the bed was especially comfortable. The location is in a quiet, picturesque spot right next to the lake. It’s a short walk into the main part of town, and there’s also a delicious restaurant just a two‑minute walk away – La Cantina. The highlight was definitely the host Guillermo, who went above and beyond for us during our stay and is one of the kindest people you’ll meet. I would recommend staying here every time!

I stayed at Cabañas de Nene and it was fantastic! The cabin matched the photos, was spotless and had every amenity I could need. Owner Guillermo was incredibly warm and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a great experience in El Calafate. The cabin is only a 15‑20 minute walk from downtown, yet it’s also close to a lovely lakeside walking area and several good restaurants nearby.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and fully equipped for my 3‑night, 4‑day visit; the weather was cool but not too cold, and the town was just a 15‑minute walk away. The property sits right next to the Costanera walkway, where I strolled with a view of Argentino Lake. Host Guillermo was outstanding—helpful, kind, and meticulous about details like my breakfast, and he arranged tours to the glaciers, even calling the tour company directly to secure a spot for me. He also helped me book a taxi to the Glaciarium museum. I have nothing to complain about.

Beautiful and quiet place between the coast (and nice sunset bars) and town (great restaurants and cute shops). The nicest man in the world runs the place. It was pretty perfect tbh
