I never actually stayed, so there was nothing to report. The bathroom was disgusting and the toilet wasn’t even fixed to the floor properly.

Breakfast was excellent, and although I could hear noise from the bar, it was reassuring that the pub was busy—this did not disturb my sleep.

The room was clean with nice decor, and coffee & tea facilities were available; the bed was comfortable. Parking was insufficient, and music from downstairs was very loud even at 11pm.

The old‑style location had great staff, but it was a bit away from everything, including restaurants.

Breakfast lived up to previous reviews and was excellent; the staff were very friendly and helpful, the landlord was great, and the local pub had a welcoming, comfy vibe—perfectly handy for Saint Austell.
