“Great views but uncomfortable bed.”

The location is spectacular, and watching Bella Rock from the breakfast area was a highlight. The door locks didn’t work properly; our main door was hard to lock and unlock, and I got stuck in the bathroom because the latch didn’t open far enough, so I had to be rescued. The bed was far too firm, so we didn’t get a good night’s sleep for the two nights we stayed.

When we arrived, the staff tried to upsell us to a more luxurious room for a few hundred dollars extra, and the photos on Booking misrepresented the rooms we had booked. We pointed this out to the manager, and the staff were very pushy yet helpful. The view and the surrounding nature were stunning.

The hotel offered the most breathtaking view in the world, though we only stayed for one night, and that night was unforgettable – the hotel sits right in front of the best scenery available. The huge balcony, pool, and snooker table were all there. Upon arrival we upgraded to a suite just to get even more of that amazing view. The room was spacious, and they added a fifth bed for our young child. Breakfast was a great buffet. We had a billing issue where we were charged for two nights instead of one due to a misunderstanding, but the staff were honest and fair, and within a few hours they called the credit company to cancel the charge. I really appreciate that.

The place is beautiful, perfectly located, with a good breakfast and great staff who took care of everything we needed. Everything was good.
