The spot was spot-on for our conference at the convention center, and the place stayed clean and quiet. The receptionist was sweet, and we felt the whole staff were helpful.
“I have stayed before and will stay again.”
The dead‑bolt lock on our door jammed, and the fridge and microwave doors wouldn’t close. Still, the hotel was clean, friendly, and quiet; the microwave in the room was handy, and the beds were comfortable.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Maria from housekeeping was especially kind, pausing her work to help me with an inquiry. A small shop next to the front desk let you buy snacks and drinks. I know the Marriott support center is separate from Courtyard Tacoma Downtown, but the Marriott team wouldn’t respond to my early‑check‑in request via chat and email; they ignored me. Eventually a support staff member called the hotel and got an answer for me, otherwise I’d have stayed anxious.
At first the TV wasn’t working, but a maintenance guy came over and fixed it—well done. The location is nice.
The location worked great for the dance convention, but the restaurant staff were very rude. On our last day we ran out of toilet paper, asked for more, never got it, and had to grab some from another friend at the hotel.
