“WOW! Can’t wait to come back!”

We had an amazing stay at The Base Vegan Retreat; it truly lives up to its name. It’s a beautiful, peaceful escape where you can fully unwind and reconnect with nature. One of our favorite moments was waking up to all the lovely animals, with turkeys joining us on the deck for our morning coffee. Seeing ducks, bunnies, guinea pigs, and turkeys roaming around made the experience special. The place is well equipped and had everything we needed and more to keep us comfortable. The spa session was perfect—relaxing in the hot tub and sauna was exactly what we needed, leaving us completely refreshed and recharged. Everything about our stay was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged. We left feeling relaxed and already can’t wait to return. We highly recommend The Base Vegan Retreat to anyone seeking a unique and tranquil getaway.

“Amazing and better than expected! Highly recommend”

The location, views, and of course the rescue animals 🥹❤️ were great. The cold weather 😅 was the only thing we didn’t like about the property.

We had an amazing time with all the animals, they are so cute and friendly. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. It feels like a rural retreat because it’s very secluded from the outside. The cabin decor is fantastic and breakfast was delicious. There was not much privacy as people were coming and going to care for the animals, but that’s understandable and not a big bother since everyone was very nice.

“Had the best time”

I loved staying at the retreat. I’ve never been to Bristol before but would definitely go back. The animals in the retreat were a highlight, and feeding them was a great experience.

“Heavenly haven !”

We exceeded our expectations on every front. Spending time with the animal crew was fab, of course, and we chose a totally immersive experience (sitting out with them and feeding them). The cabin is an unforgettable mix of cosy and chic—so well designed! We appreciated the little touches like the Oatly sachets and brownies. The beautiful spa area was all prepped and ready for us and was absolutely gorgeous. The hosts are genuine, lovely folk. Nothing.
