“Terribile”

Nothing positive except the owner, a kind Neapolitan, who was friendly and helpful; the staff and cleaning ladies were a disappointment, acting like they owned the building, watching us from the terrace at night, trying to talk to us, and meddling in matters that weren’t theirs. Cleaning was zero—no linen changes, the floor never got swept and was full of dust, the shower gel had to be requested because only a single sachet was left the first day, and then it stopped. The cleaning staff smoked in the corridors while working, filling everything with smoke, and used the elevator to haul their trash, blocking it for guests, which was infuriating when we needed it. We couldn’t sleep because guys on the floor below played loud music from a balcony.

Our room was ready early and we were allowed to use it right away, the location was excellent and the price was very good. We paid an extra €20 beyond the room rate because we wanted to rest late after checkout, a service the property offered. However, the staff woke us up three times in the morning, and on two of those occasions they entered the room without knocking, startling us. No one apologized or offered any discount for the disturbance.

I liked the location, just a five‑minute walk to the beach. Unfortunately I was given the wrong room, cleaning only started on the third day, the furniture was old, the walls were dirty, and Wi‑Fi worked only on the ground floor and at reception, nowhere else.
