The breakfast buffet offered a decent variety, and the eggs and tea eggs were quite large. I wasn’t told beforehand that the hotel I’d booked had been automatically switched to another property in the same chain, so I had to wait outside the lobby for a while before checking in. The desk lamp over the desk in my room was faulty; even after the power was turned off at night it still flickered, which disturbed my sleep.

“飯店氛圍讓人有度假的感覺”

I was bumped from my original bank branch to the Galaxy Hotel, and the room lights were bright and comfortable. The spa was decent, though it’s semi‑open and only runs from about 4 pm to 10 pm; in autumn two of the three pools had almost identical temperatures and some buttons seemed broken. The front desk staff were not very enthusiastic, and at the main entrance there was obvious standing water but no all‑day warning signs.

1. The originally booked bank branch was upgraded to the Galaxy Hotel. 2. The room lighting was bright and comfortable. 3. The spa facilities were good, but because it was semi‑open and only open from about 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., the temperatures of two of the three pools were too similar, and some buttons seemed to be malfunctioning. 1. The floor was low (3rd floor), and the toilet water pressure seemed insufficient. 2. On entering the room, there was a lingering fecal odor in the toilet; after reporting it, cleaning staff came immediately, assessed the source, and cleaned it, but I wish the cleaning paid more attention to this. 3. The front terrace floor was dirty and not cleaned. 4. The dryer left hair residue, and no staff inspected or cleaned it. 5. On the day of stay, there were many guests (three tour buses), and before 9 p.m., the snack bar’s desserts were all gone; no staff replenished them, which left some guests dissatisfied. 6. With many guests, the hotel should separate individual travelers and tour groups by floor, because the tour guests were noisy, chatting in the corridor and knocking on doors.
