The house and the estate overall were good.

The house has several common areas, ideal for groups and families. It has a large estate with plenty of trees, some of them beech trees, and a very cozy shaded spot for lunch or snacks when the weather is nice. We went in November as a group of seven and felt very comfortable, with heating and hot water working well, and a large dining table for everyone. The owner, very kind and attentive, even sent us an email with an item we had left behind in the house. Nearby we have an interesting monument to visit, the Torre de Doncos, which had a defensive role in the 15th century when it was positioned at the entrance to Galicia from the Bierzo; the old Roman road that connected Braga with Astorga passed through it. Not far away are Navia de Suarna with its Ponte Vella and the Castle of Altamira, and the Ancares and Courel mountains, suitable for hiking and nature tourism.

Cozy, comfortable beds. It says there is a TV but it doesn’t work, it says there is a washing machine but it’s broken and dismantled, the bathtub almost floods the bathroom when draining, and the fire extinguisher is expired from 2003. It’s a shame because this well‑kept house is amazing.

Beautiful scenery, the house is very pretty and comfortable. The host was very attentive to us, fixing any unforeseen issue quickly.

The surroundings, the porch, and the house are pretty. We felt very at ease. Overall we liked it, but it’s uncomfortable for people with limited mobility because there are stair sections between the different rooms. It would also be better if the bathtubs or showers had a curtain or a partition.
