The location, interior, and stuff were good, but the location itself was a bit of a let‑down.

The location is good, there are nice facilities for kids, and the food and breakfast are good. The staff were stressed and there was an unreasonably long wait to place a dinner order. Having to book housekeeping a day in advance when you’re a family with kids and don’t know what’s happening overnight feels wrong. When staying more than two nights you expect a little extra care and service, and housekeeping should be the minimum that runs smoothly. It was unpleasant to have to go to reception to book housekeeping and be told “did you book housekeeping yesterday?” because no one had informed us that it needed to be booked ahead. A sign in the rooms would be much more appropriate! Also the elevator was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned from evening to morning, which lowered the overall quality of the stay.

The staff were friendly, the service was excellent, and the rooms were nice. I have nothing to complain about.

“Great hotel for a family or group of students”

We were a group of students, so having the third floor available for us was ideal. The staff were lovely and the hotel was very clean. We had booked a long time ago and asked for rooms together on the third floor; when we arrived the front‑desk said we were on the 7th floor, which disappointed me, but he switched us to the correct floor right away. If people email requests, they should be acknowledged and confirmed at check‑in.
