We’re from Edwardsville and love the local family shops, but Champaign blew us away this time. The staff made us feel right at home and the city view from our room was perfect—definitely a girls’ trip to remember. We’ll be back for sure.

They outright refused my reservation, wouldn’t accept cash, and treated me with a terrible attitude just because I was a white guy.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the window view was nice. However, the room felt a bit dated, the toilet needed extra push to work, the cafeteria furniture was ripped and old, and the bedding was wrinkled and not very clean.

The room was spacious, but the one we got had someone spraying pesticides, so we had to wait ten minutes downstairs for a new room. The bathroom had mold, the location was loud with trucks coming and going late at night, and maids were shouting and vacuuming at 8 am right outside our door—sleep was scarce. The staff were not very attentive, and all the back‑office doors were wide open, giving the vibe that this was more of a workplace than a hotel. We had better experiences at a cheap motel.
