We thought the Dog House was just a quirky dog‑themed spot with a bowl and a bed, but they actually had a fenced run right next to the house—great for letting our pup roam off‑leash. The room was clean and quiet, and they left water, coffee, bagels, cream cheese, jam, peanut butter, and hard‑boiled eggs for us. The store had fresh coffee and a proper toilet, and the overnight outhouse was spotless.

The DogHouse room was a real eye‑catcher—unique décor, antiques, and even tools from the jade trade. Walking around the property was a treat. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The only hiccup was that the room didn’t have a screen, so opening the window let in bugs, and there was no fan or AC to keep it breezy. Other than that, everything was solid.

Clean, quiet, and exactly what we needed. The setting was lovely, and the staff were incredibly kind. Breakfast was solid—hard‑boiled eggs, bagels, fruit—and the coffee maker in the bungalow was top‑notch. There was plenty of room for our dogs, too. Definitely coming back.

Comfortable and warm, with staff who were friendly and helpful. The only thing to note is that the bathroom is shared, but we knew that before we booked.
