“An enjoyable and well priced stay.”
The location is lovely, peaceful, and offers great views; the property was beautifully refurbished with modern amenities, and the secure parking right next to the building was excellent. Access was good for someone with reduced mobility, except the pool is down 12 steps, though sturdy handrails on both sides and a toilet and shower next to it were helpful, and a handrail and steps lead into the pool itself; a shower chair was provided by staff and was much appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was spotless. The restaurant offered a substantial menu at reasonable prices and a good selection of breakfast items. An English translation of the menu would be useful, and while it worked for us, the location might feel a bit remote for some because there are no nearby restaurant options; it’s an hour’s drive to Bilbao.
