It was practical and reasonably priced, but I didn’t see a single person during my whole stay, which felt very impersonal and a bit disappointing.

The hotel sits on a ridge that looks out over the valley and the mountains – absolutely breathtaking. The little village itself is picture‑perfect, and when we finally rolled up on our bikes late at night the staff rushed out to help us settle in. They even slipped us some coffee, biscuits and cake on the house, which was a nice touch.
