The venue itself was beautiful and tidy, the wild water restaurant for dinner and breakfast was delicious, and they managed our large group of 24 incredibly well.

The grounds and building looked beautiful from the outside, but for two nights we arrived late and the door code they gave us (which was also written on the door) didn’t work. We were freezing, tried to warm up in the shower, the taps weren’t labeled hot or cold and were slow to change; when we finally figured it out, the water pressure was poor. The rooms were freezing, especially the bathroom. There was no coffee maker, iron or toaster in the room, and the balcony was screwed shut so you couldn’t go out there. It wasn’t as luxurious as we’d expected for the price.

The building was fine, but everything else was bad.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a fantastic bathroom. Having a restaurant and bar on site was convenient, so I didn’t need to drive. The seating in the room, however, was just wooden kitchen chairs; a more comfortable option like club chairs would have been better.
