The décor is gorgeous—like stepping into a Brocéliande fairy tale. The attention to detail is impressive, and I really appreciated the charm. But the real hassle was the steep stairs to the second floor with a suitcase, especially after a long day. Getting back to the car for dinner was a pain, and there was no breakfast option or air‑conditioning on a hot day. Still, it’s a lovely spot overall.

Booked for three nights in the low season and snagged the best room in the building—beautiful and cozy, with a good bed and plenty of extra blankets. It was January, so it was freezing outside. The only quirks were the shower and toilet downstairs in an unheated hallway, and the kettle was also outside the room, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it was great.
