Live Oak B&B

This place is truly special and offers a memorable bed‑and‑breakfast experience; its interior is full of character, creating a warm, cozy vibe. Breakfast was delicious, shared areas were comfortable and well arranged, and the hosts were welcoming yet respectful of privacy, making the stay very relaxing.

“We appreciate the nice accommodations.”

The bed was comfortable and the home felt nice, and help was immediate when needed. Breakfast was okay but not as good as other B&Bs, and I understand the owner was out of town, which may have lowered the quality.

“Highly recommend Live Oak B&B in Glen Rose.”

The room felt cozy and comfortable, with a walk‑in shower that was well appointed. The location and parking were convenient, and breakfast tasted good. It was a perfect choice for us.

“We really enjoyed our time at Live Oak. The property is well kept, with many areas to relax. Loved!”

The vibe at Live Oak was relaxed and peaceful, and I really enjoyed reading on the balcony. There were plenty of spots inside and out to sit and unwind. Breakfast was delicious, and the young lady who took care of us was sweet. Coffee and water were available all day. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable, and we stayed in the Longhorn Room where the bed was comfy. We had a great stay. The only downside was some hornets outside that we had to spray, which is normal for Texas or the country, so not a big deal. The room had an in‑room air conditioner, but my husband felt hot in the rest of the house, probably because it was set at 76. I was comfortable everywhere; my husband just runs hotter than me.
