It’s close to the bazaar and the manager is nice, but the photos mislead you—this place is EXTREMELY dirty, in a bad neighbourhood, the bathrooms weren’t clean, the facilities were rundown, and breakfast was so bad we had to eat elsewhere. It’s a dump; don’t stay here.

The location is excellent and the hotel is adequate for 2–3 nights, although it’s a bit dated.

The place was close to the city centre, but it was filthy: dust hovered over the room, the floor was dirty, the bathroom had limescale marks and the shower was broken so water leaked everywhere, and there was dust on the toilet. Breakfast was very light with hardly anything. It needs a renovation and a serious cleaning overhaul.

The hotel was near the historic centre of Smyrna, but the Wi‑Fi only worked in the rooms, not at the entrance, and the beds had hair clumps on the sheets.
