Doña Blanca, the staff member who checked us in, was friendly and went out of her way to help.
The hotel sits in a great part of town, close to shops and restaurants, which was a big plus.
The room itself was pleasant – clean, decent size and comfortable enough for a short stay.
This family‑run place feels right in the heart of Riohacha, so you’re close to everything you’d want to see.

The service was friendly and the rooms were clean and tidy.
The room itself was pleasant – clean, decent size and comfortable enough for a short stay. What really threw me off, though, was the location; it felt far from the main attractions and a bit inconvenient for getting around. Overall, I’d stay for the room but look for a better spot next time.
The hotel sits in a great part of town, close to shops and restaurants, which was a big plus. Unfortunately, once the lights went out the street noise became pretty loud, making it hard to drift off. A solid location, but you might need earplugs at night.
“Adecuada. Me sentí bien atendida.”
The kindness of Doña Blanca and Mr. Iván’s willingness to clarify concerns. The neighborhood gave me a sense of insecurity, but nothing bad happened even though one night I walked from the Malecón at 10:30 p.m.; maybe it’s because I’ve lived in very insecure cities.
The bed was solid and surprisingly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel. Nothing else really stood out, but I didn’t have any complaints either.
