The breakfast was good but could improve in variety. I really liked the hotel’s location, it’s too close to the slopes. The front desk was very friendly, especially the beautiful lady. The facilities could be improved, they’re too old.
Die Lage war tipp top, aus dem Skikeller auf die Piste und für die Lage war der Preis gut. Das Frühstück war super. Das Abendessen war vom Preis o.k., aber irgendwie speziell. Vorspeissenbuffet super, Hauptspeise dann aber sehr simpel, s.u. Es roch unangenehm in den Fluren und es besteht ein grosser Renovierungstau. Das Hauptgericht beim Abendessen hatte Raststättenniveau. Das mit Käse überbackene Kartoffelpüree am ersten Tag war zumindest lecker und durch den Käse sättigend. Am zweiten Abend gab es einen kleinen Teller voll Nudeln mit, vermutlich einer Art Bolognesesauce. Überraschend in Frankreich

I had a decent time, but there were some issues that balanced out the positives.
“Au pays des contrastes”
The parking is conveniently located, just a staircase up to the hotel, and the ski locker room at the back gives almost instant access to the slopes; everything was designed with skiing in mind, but not only, with the hotel restaurant right across, a Sherpa nearby, a pizzeria (lange lina, I recommend), and the lifts and ticket sales very close—top quality, plus the staff’s very cordial welcome. The new station policy that requires paying for parking from 8 h to 19 h is a bit sharp and clashes with the rest, but the hotel isn’t to blame.

Despite not being a new fancy hotel and showing age, it was wonderfully pleasant and comfortable. The large room, wooden furniture, very responsive staff, and maximum convenience to the slopes/lifts plus a nearby shop and a great restaurant made the stay a sincere pleasure. The hotel is “tired” in terms of renovation, which dramatically affects the overall perception, and in the shower the hot water runs out quickly.
