Breakfast was good, and the bathroom was fine. The shower has a thoughtful anti‑slip floor. The restaurant was closed, so we actually ended up at this hotel because you don’t have to leave the door after a long drive.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served by the Loire. Spider webs and no shower curtain in front of the bathtub are the only downsides.

The location on the Loire banks is excellent and it’s quiet, only about twenty minutes from the SNCF station. The reception was very welcoming, with open hours. My room wasn’t ready yet, but I could leave my bag at reception. The setting is nice and the room has a vintage bathroom. The kettle comes with tea and coffee. Sheets and towels were changed on the second night. There’s no elevator and the old staircase has two flights. The building was renovated but still feels worn. Check‑in was via a machine because no one was at the front desk. The garden is poorly maintained.

The location is great and the Privilege room is excellent. The breakfast is expensive.
